Our Design:

ABF Can-Am Maverick R Tree Kickers are designed and fabricated to be the best in function and looks. We start with a 3D scan of the Maverick R tree kicker mounting locations. This ensures our CAD design will be accurate.

Our design begins with an industry leading billet mounting bung that is perfectly coped to the OEM Maverick R frame. This special bung provides a “hardware guide” that makes lining up your mounting bolts an easy task and helps prevent cross-threading.

Our lower rock tube is designed so that our tree kickers for the Maverick R also function as a rock slider. The lower rock slider tube is made from a special 1.5″x.120″, heavy wall tubing that helps to protect the Maverick R plastics from rocks. Our functional and good-looking design continues with our upper tube. The upper tube is designed to provide protection from side impacts from trees, as well as a functional step.

As you can see, ABF Tree kickers function as a step, tree kicker, and rock slider. Not only do they function, but ABF Maverick R tree kickers are designed to be pleasing to the eyes. All tubes flow well with the Maverick R body, and add an even better look to an already great looking Can-Am.

Our Fabrication:

ABF tree kickers are fabricated using a CAD designed building fixture. This ensures that your tree kickers will bolt on with ease to your Maverick R. Our building fixture starts with a fully built Maverick R tree kicker that we have perfected on the Vehicle. We perfect the kicker by ensuring our frame mounts are located in a way that takes into account weld shrink and weld pull. Then we take the perfected tree kicker to our building fixture and attach it to the slotted mounting points using a washer that is true to bolt diameter. Once we are happy with the way the kicker is fitting to the building fixture, we weld the washers in place to make sure that our mounting points will always be accurate.

One batch of tubing can be slightly different than another. We take a special step each time we build tree kickers and check our first set of bent tubes to make sure they are perfect. Once we have them perfect we cut and bend the whole production run. This helps us provide the best consistency.

Our products are built by VERY talented people. People are human and we do make mistakes. So to prevent those mistakes from making it to You, a quality check is given to each part by someone other than the one building the product.
